A Round-the-World Sailing Route via the Great Capes and Antarctica with Children Travely-Family aboard the sailing yacht Lady Mary Travely-Family’s Round-the-World Route Red marks the expedition’s completed route via the three Great Capes. Here is an article with details of the route, its description and dates. The solid purple line shows the route actually sailed westwards (the unfinished first circumnavigation). From 18 July 2019 to 20 October 2019, Lady Mary completed the third stage of the expedition: Cape Horn — Cape of Good Hope . From 25 January 2020 to 18 March 2020, the fourth stage of the expedition was completed: Cape of Good Hope — Cape Leeuwin (Cape Town — Albany). Under Way Again At the end of March 2021, Lady Mary got under way again and rounded the third Great Cape on the route—Cape Leeuwin in south-western Australia. We then sailed around Tasmania from the south, reached Bass Strait and returned to Tasmania’s capital. On 4 September 2021, Lady Mary departed Hobart to cross the Pacific Ocean. On 26 November 2021, Lady Mary crossed her own track between the islands of Moorea and Huahine in French Polynesia, thus completing her Round-the-World Voyage via the Great Capes and Antarctica with Children. The information is updated as we progress along the route. Keep checking the “Round-the-World Route” page. And read the latest chronicles of our passage in the Round-the-World Journal .
