Malta. On the Way Back from the Regatta – photo 1

Malta. On the Way Back from the Regatta Our Lady Mary in a marina in Malta . Taken from the tender (also known as the dinghy, the inflatable boat, or the ship’s boat). The whole family is rowing back from the regatta start in the tender. During the start it was windy and overcast; the entire crew, drenched by waves breaking over us from all sides, laughed and sheltered under our waterproofs. Then, unexpectedly, the weather cleared, and on the way back we practically sunbathed ). While Nastya did all the rowing. We had wisely brought our waterproofs with us, because we had set off for the start of the previous regatta completely unprepared and ended up soaked to our underwear. It was just windier and rougher then 🙂 This time, different adventures awaited us: while we were circling around the starting buoys, our outboard, overcome with joy, conked out. We rowed the mile back )) Here’s what surprised and delighted us: several yachts taking part in the regatta, on seeing children in the boat, came closer and offered to help, even though they already had their sails up. Three minutes before the start! Thank you, brotherhood of the sea. You’re the real thing ).
