Our radio show on Yacht Radio :). Links to the first two episodes. Somehow we’re always getting caught up in everything and forgetting that, for example, we have another project—a show on Yacht Radio. There are only two episodes so far; the third has long been on its way, and the poor thing is already tired of being on its way 🙂 And here are the links to the first two: Episode 1 — How to Get Ready for a Round-the-World Voyage: A Beginner’s Guide Episode 2 — Choosing a Yacht for Family Life 🙂 Our programme on Yacht Radio is called “Around the World as a Family.” The whole family crew takes part: the children comment and share their impressions, laugh in some of the funny jingles, and chant other funny jingles in unison. And at the end of the show, there’s a song by our friends—the well-known and seriously cool Novosibirsk band Provereno. They wrote the song “Conquer the Sea” especially to mark our departure on our round-the-world voyage. So, anyone who: is too lazy to read the articles and descriptions on the website, and is even too lazy to watch our cool videos on YouTube (or, well, whose connection can’t handle them), wants to hear our actual voices and, most importantly, what the children think about all this, wants to learn about things we haven’t yet filmed or written about on the website— listen to our shows on Yacht Radio! 🙂 Hugs from Tierra del Fuego—we’re off to record more material for you and edit the next episode of our film about the Expedition to the Phantom Islands of the Pacific 🙂 And finally, a photo from Barcelona during our first winter aboard Lady Mary. Lada is 2, Nastya is 12. And the “cover” photo shows our first trip out into the ocean aboard the 32-foot charter yacht Minuda in the Canary Islands. Lada is 1.5, Nastya is 11. And First Mate Marina’s left arm is broken (safely hidden behind the captain’s broad back). The operation to insert pins into the bone was done a week before we headed out into the ocean :). Still, we managed five islands, even with the cast :). You can read about that adventurous experience here: The Diamond Arm, or Why a Tourist Needs Medical Insurance But for now—Yacht Radio rules! 🙂
