Pacific-to-Atlantic Road Trip!

CALENDAR of motivational meet-ups in cities across Russia in August and September The main thing in this post will be the map. On 22 May 2022, our family somehow managed to complete its second round-the-world journey. The first—our round-the-world expedition with the children via the great capes and Antarctica—came full circle in Tahiti on 26 November 2021. And this past May, we set off on a road trip through bad roads and sheer negligence, from Vladivostok to St Petersburg. Only to discover that there have long been no bad roads left in Siberia or the Russian Far East. On 8 August, the Travely-Family team set off westwards from Novosibirsk. We have already held two meet-ups and a press conference in the fine city of Omsk, and then dashed off to the Urals. We popped into Channel 31 in Chelyabinsk to record an interview, then headed straight to Zlatoust, the beloved city of my childhood. Take a look at the meet-up calendar, friends. UFA We tried to arrange something for the evening of the 16th—there had been enquiries—but there was no venue or anything else (. And then we got reeeally ill and stayed in Zlatoust an extra day. KAZAN ✅ done 18 August, 19:00, Sakura Educational Centre. Miracle-workers Artem Kozlov and Marat Bikmullin accomplished the impossible in two days, and the hall was packed. NIZHNY NOVGOROD 20 August, 16:30, Switzerland Park, children’s centre, large rounded pavilion.
