Expedition schooner
Ruach Love
A steel expedition sailing vessel equipped for long voyages and operations in subpolar waters.
About the vessel
An expedition vessel with a long seafaring history
Ruach Love was built in 1986 at Germany's Blumenthaler Werft as a sail training and expedition vessel. She underwent a major refit in 2013, including upgrades to her interiors and technical systems.
The schooner was later used for humanitarian medical expeditions in remote parts of the world. She joined the RUSARC fleet in 2022 and now also operates on Antarctic routes.
The vessel accommodates a small expedition group and is equipped for self-sufficient living, ocean passages and shore landings.
